Oceanside Farmers Market is back at the beach

December 2nd, 2009 · 1 Comment · Misc

November 12, 2009—Palm Beach County’s premier farmers market is returning to its original venue, at Lake Worth Beach. Leaving its downtown Lake Worth summer home on North J Street, Oceanside Farmers Market is relocating on Saturday, November 21—just in time to supply fresh and fabulous fixings for the Thanksgiving feast. Oceanside Farmers Market, now in its fourth successful year, features an abundant selection of locally grown organic vegetables; artisan breads, flatbreads and specialty desserts, sold by the bakers; an aromatic array of potted gourmet herbs, including lemon chives, spicy and variegated oregano and purple basil; locally prepared pickles, relishes and chow-chow; an assortment of flavored goat cheese, elaborate hand-decorated cookies and more. For the gardener, there are certified citrus and fruit trees, vivid vanda and specialty collector’s orchids and Bonzai and Palm Trees, as well as garden statuary, resting benches and side tables of iron & glass.
