Bon Voyage to all the supportive and great patons of Oceanside Farmer’s Market at Lake Worth Beach. Our fourth season has come to a finish with record attendance and new smiling faces each week. We launched canal Street South with huge success as well as some benefits for not-for-profits that will be scheduled again next season. We were thrilled to work with Peggy Adams Animal Rescue (very appropriate as our Assistant Manager, Lady Godiva, the retired greyhound who begs from each vendor and monitors the crowds for friends!!!), as well as The Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, The Roger Daubach Foundation for ALS, working to build a respite care facility for ALS patients and many more….It was a very exciting season and we are thrilled to be returning in October, 2010…with many new vendors and products…..Canal Street South will also be reworked to become your local flea, just like paris or Rome (think I’d better go and do some research!!!)

February, the month of passion and giving..Let’s join in the giving mode and visit the artisans that will be displaying their goods for the month of February. With the Holiday Bazaar a huge success in December, many of the vendors wanted to return to Oceanside Farmer’s market at Lake Worth Beach. In keeping with the concept of a farmer’s market, crafts have not been a consideration in the past to have in the farmer’s market. However, many markets in california and union square, NYC, have added as a separate component to the market an interesting and complementary artisan area. This will launch at Oceanside Farmer’s Market this week for 4 Saturdays.
Please visit and support local artists!
Your comments would be appreciated.

November 12, 2009—Palm Beach County’s premier farmers market is returning to its original venue, at Lake Worth Beach. Leaving its downtown Lake Worth summer home on North J Street, Oceanside Farmers Market is relocating on Saturday, November 21—just in time to supply fresh and fabulous fixings for the Thanksgiving feast. Oceanside Farmers Market, now in its fourth successful year, features an abundant selection of locally grown organic vegetables; artisan breads, flatbreads and specialty desserts, sold by the bakers; an aromatic array of potted gourmet herbs, including lemon chives, spicy and variegated oregano and purple basil; locally prepared pickles, relishes and chow-chow; an assortment of flavored goat cheese, elaborate hand-decorated cookies and more. For the gardener, there are certified citrus and fruit trees, vivid vanda and specialty collector’s orchids and Bonzai and Palm Trees, as well as garden statuary, resting benches and side tables of iron & glass.
